Iowa Lakes Announces 2025–2026 Estherville Performing Arts Series

ESTHERVILLE, Iowa (Sept. 15, 2025) — Iowa Lakes Community College has announced the lineup for the 2025–2026 Estherville Performing Arts Series at the Janice K. Lund Performing Arts Center. This season will feature four performances, offering audiences an engaging mix of cultural music, ragtime piano, seasonal favorites, and nationally recognized comedy.

The season includes:

  • Eden Ehm — Thursday, Oct. 23, 2025, at 7 p.m.
  • Glenn Henriksen, Father Paul Kelly & Bill Hansen: Songs of the Seasons — Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025, at 2 p.m.
  • Peter Bergin — Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026, at 7 p.m.
  • Tommy Ryman — Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 7 p.m.

Eden Ehm
A native of Decorah, Iowa, Eden Ehm is one of North America’s foremost young fiddlers. Specializing in the Hardanger fiddle, Ehm has studied under master Norwegian fiddlers, performed for King Harald and Queen Sonja of Norway, and frequently appears at Scandinavian festivals across the United States. Her performances connect classical traditions with folk influences, introducing audiences to the distinctive sound of this richly ornamented instrument.

Glenn Henriksen, Father Paul Kelly & Bill Hansen: Songs of the Seasons
This trio will present Songs of the Seasons, an afternoon of wit, warmth, and musical surprises. Their program blends storytelling, humor, and heartfelt music to capture the spirit of the seasons in a way that entertains and uplifts audiences of all ages.

Peter Bergin
Peter Bergin is dedicated to sharing the rhythms and melodies of Early American Popular Music, including ragtime, vintage American songs, and patriotic favorites. A Michigan Humanities Touring Artist, Bergin has performed at the Scott Joplin Ragtime Festival, the West Coast Ragtime Festival, and the Zehnder’s Ragtime Festival. His performances bring to life both nostalgic standards such as “I Love You Truly” and contemporary classics including “A Thousand Years.”

Tommy Ryman
Tommy Ryman, a semifinalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, is an acclaimed comedian known for his absurdist and clever style. His comedy album Party Troll debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes comedy charts, and his work has been featured on SiriusXM, Paste Magazine, and Nickelodeon’s NickMom Night Out. Named Best of the Midwest at Gilda’s Laugh Fest, Ryman has performed at top comedy clubs and festivals nationwide, sharing stages with Nick Swardson, Hannibal Buress, Maria Bamford, and Louie Anderson.
