Tuition payment options
Iowa Lakes Community College offers a variety of tuition payment options for you to pay your bill.
Please review our payment options below.
Log in to your My Iowa Lakes account. Under the STUDENT FINANCE section, you will find instructions on how to pay your bill
- We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
Some debit cards may have daily limits, so please check with your bank to make sure your limit is sufficient to cover your balance due.
Stop by the Iowa Lakes Business office to pay your bill in-person. Cashiers can accept the following forms of payment:
- Credit Card
- Personal Check (made payable to Iowa Lakes Community College)
- Money Order
- Cashier's Check
Students may mail tuition payments to Iowa Lakes. Please include your Iowa Lakes Student ID number. Checks can be made payable to Iowa Lakes Community College and send payment to:

Iowa Lakes Community College offers the Iowa Lakes NELNET Payment Plan as a convenient budget plan to help you take care of your educational expenses.
The NELNET Payment Plan is not a loan program. You may budget your tuition and fees in either an automatic bank payment (ACH) or with a credit/debit card option.
NELNET offers an online enrollment plan, and early enrollment provides the most options. The cost is only $25 per semester to use the NELNET payment program.

- Once you are in your WebAdvisor account, access the Student-Manage My Account: NELNET Tuition Payment Plan.
If your employer has agreed to pay for your tuition, you must provide a signed contract or written notice to Iowa Lakes prior to the first day of classes with your tuition payment. If your employer does not plan to pay the tuition balance until after course completion, you must follow an established payment plan or pay the balance in full on or before the first day of classes.
2020-2021 Tuition Payment Due Dates
Tuition is due on the first day of class.
Spring 2021 - January 13, 2021
Summer 2021 - May 24, 2021
NOTICE TO STUDENTS:
Iowa Lakes reserves the right to cancel your registration, suspend computer access, or restrict dining access if you have not made payment arrangements, or pay your tuition in full. If your registration is canceled or suspensions are made, you are still responsible for paying the bill or dropping classes.
If you do not plan to attend one or more of your registered classes, you are responsible for dropping the class properly by the deadline for each particular class to avoid owing tuition. Failure to attend class or telling a staff or faculty member that you do not plan to attend class does not cancel your registration or your bill.
