What to Expect at Orientation

During orientation, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Become acquainted with campus resources and services.
• Learn about academic expectations from your Iowa Lakes Advisor.
• Engage with other students attending Iowa Lakes.
• Explore campus life, housing, financial aid, how to pay your bill, campus technology, and many other aspects of what life is like as a Laker.
• Attend an Academic Advising session and register for classes.

Orientation is mandatory at Iowa Lakes. The key to your success is knowing where to go should you have questions or need help. Orientation is an essential part of achieving your academic goals.
