During my graduate studies at Iowa State University, I became a member and author within the ATLAS Collaboration, one of the largest international scientific collaborations focused on the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider in Geneva. My research involved analyzing ATLAS data for rare Higgs and Z boson decays, setting world-best limits published in 2022, and developing QA/QC techniques for the ATLAS Phase 2 Upgrade in collaboration with Yale University. I also contributed to experimental atomic, molecular, and optical (AMO) physics at Western Illinois University, fabricating and studying glass samples with rare earth doping for my Master’s Thesis.
