EMS 365 – Emergency Medical Technician II Clinical

Prepares the student to provide emergency medical assessment, care, and transportation of the sick and injured of all ages. Develops student proficiency in previously learned skills when providing direct patient care in clinical settings. Requires student participation in and documentation of patient contacts during both ride and clinical time approved by the medical director, and the EMS program director. Students must demonstrate competency in skills learned for patients of all ages either live or as simulations within their scope of practice.

Prerequisite: EMS 364 – Emergency Medical Technician II (C or better)
