PIANIST PETER BERGIN TO BRING RAGTIME CLASSICS TO IOWA LAKES
ESTHERVILLE, Iowa (Jan. 20, 2026) — Pianist Peter Bergin will take the stage at the Janice K. Lund Performing Arts Center on Thursday, Feb. 12, at 7 p.m., as part of the 2025–2026 Estherville Performing Arts Series at Iowa Lakes Community College.
Bergin’s mission is to spread joy through the rhythms and melodies of Early American Popular Music. His performances feature a blend of ragtime, vintage American songs, and early patriotic favorites. A Michigan Humanities Touring Artist, Bergin has appeared at the Scott Joplin Ragtime Festival, West Coast Ragtime Festival, and Zehnder’s Ragtime Festival.
Audiences can expect an evening of nostalgia and romance, with music ranging from timeless classics like “I Love You Truly” and “Our Love Is Here to Stay” to newer favorites such as “You’ve Got a Friend” and “A Thousand Years.”
