Simple Solutions for Paying Your Tuition

Paying your bill at Iowa Lakes Community College is straightforward and stress-free. We offer multiple options to ensure you can conveniently manage your college expenses. Whether you're paying online, in person, or by mail, we're here to assist you every step of the way.

Flexible Payment Options

Iowa Lakes provides several secure ways to pay your tuition and fees:

  • Online Payments: Use My Iowa Lakes to pay securely through your student portal.
  • In-Person: Visit the business office on any of our campuses to make payments via cash, check, or credit card.
  • By Mail: Send your payment to the campus address on your statement. Ensure your student ID number is included.

PAYMENT PLANS

Additionally, we offer payment plans to help distribute the cost over manageable monthly installments. Learn more about the Iowa Lakes Nelnet Payment Plan to see if this option suits your needs. We have a solution for international students through Convera Globalpay.

Iowa Lakes NELNET Payment Plan

Iowa Lakes Community College offers the Iowa Lakes NELNET Payment Plan as a convenient budget plan to help you manage your educational expenses.

The NELNET Payment Plan is not a loan program. You may budget your tuition and fees through automatic bank payments (ACH) or credit/debit card options. 

NELNET Enrollment

NELNET offers an online enrollment plan; early enrollment provides the most options. The cost to use the NELNET payment program is only $30 per semester. 

Sign up for NELNET through the Self-Service Student Portal

  • Once you are in the Self-Service Student Portal, on the left-hand side, click Financial Information, click Student Finance, and choose Setup/Manage NELNET Payment Plans.

International Students - Convera GlobalPay

Iowa Lakes Community College and Convera GlobalPay for Students have partnered to provide a convenient way for you to make payments for your tuition and other fees. This allows you to pay in your home currency, either online or by bank transfer, with competitive exchange rates and takes the stress and uncertainty out of paying for your tuition.

How to make a payment:

  1. Login to your GlobalPay for Students to make a payment.
  2. Select the country where you’re paying from and click get a quote.
  3. Select payment type – Wire, Credit Card or Mobile/Online Payment – WeChat, ALIPAY or other.
  4. Student Details Page – click next.
  5. Payer Details Page - Who will be making this payment? Check Use of Terms box and proceed to payment.
  6. Make a Payment Page – Print Instructions for wire payment or Log in payment provider. Notify me by SMS (tracking payment/optional).

Complete your student payment online or in-person with our banking instructions.

Employer Paid Tuition

If your employer has agreed to pay for your tuition, you must provide a signed contract or written notice to Iowa Lakes prior to the first day of classes with your tuition payment. If your employer does not plan to pay the tuition balance until after course completion, you must follow an established payment plan or pay the balance in full on or before the first day of classes.

NOTICE TO STUDENTS:

Iowa Lakes reserves the right to cancel your registration, suspend computer access, or restrict dining access if you have not made payment arrangements or paid your tuition in full. If your registration is canceled or suspensions are made, you are still responsible for paying the bill or dropping classes. If you do not plan to attend one or more of your registered classes, you are responsible for dropping the class properly by the deadline for each particular class to avoid owing tuition. Failure to attend class or telling a staff or faculty member that you do not plan to attend class does not cancel your registration or your bill.
