Are you have trouble logging into the Iowa Lakes network? Can’t remember your user name and password? Do you need your password reset?

This page is dedicated to helping you to resolve any network login issues. Please note that when you change your password, the password will be updated for all Iowa Lakes systems, including My Iowa Lakes, Self-Service, Email, Canvas, Iowa Lakes Scholarship application, and Network Logins.

Iowa Lakes Network & Email User Name & Password

REMINDER:

Iowa Lakes uses a standard user name for all students.

User Name: Your full last name followed by the first initial of your first name and, typically, the last four digits of your student ID number.

Example:

Students Name: John Smith

Students ID Number: 8501234

User Name: smithj1234

Password Reset for All Iowa Lakes Systems

Please note that your password will be updated for all Iowa Lakes systems when you change your password, including My Iowa Lakes, Self-Service, Email, Canvas, and Network Logins.

Remote Password Reset

Visit portal.office.com (If you are signed in to Office 365, you will need to sign out.)
Click "Can't Access Your Account" or enter your Iowa Lakes Email and attempt to sign in.
Enter your password. (If the password is invalid, select Reset it Now or Forgot My Password)
On the "Get Back Into your Account - Who Are You?" page, enter your Iowa Lakes Email and enter the characters displayed in the picture.

Please note, if your mobile number is not part of your Iowa Lakes account, you will need to contact Iowa Lakes to have it entered.

If you have a mobile number in your Iowa Lakes account, you will then be directed to the Get Back Into Your Account screen.

Enter your mobile phone number and select Text.
You will then be sent a verification code via text message to your mobile device.
Once you receive the Verification Code, enter your Verification Code and select Next.
