Tickets on Sale for Palo Alto Scholarship Fundraising Event “Dancing With the Local Stars”

(Emmetsburg, Iowa) Tickets are on sale now for the Palo Alto Scholarship Fundraising event “Dancing with the Local Stars,” now taking place at the Wild Rose Casino and Resort ballroom in Emmetsburg. We thank them for their generous support of Iowa Lakes students.

Performances will take place on Friday, March 22 and Saturday, March 23. Tables of eight are $400, and individual tickets are $50. Your ticket price includes a donation to the scholarship fund, a night of entertainment, red carpet photo, hearty appetizers, and desserts. Doors open at 6:00 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm.

All proceeds from this event go toward scholarships for students who reside in Palo Alto County and attend Iowa Lakes Community College. Scholarship recipients truly appreciate this financial support as they work to pursue their educational goals.

Prior to the event, be on the look-out for your favorite team’s ‘fundraising fishbowl’ at various local businesses. Donate to help your team get a leg-up on the competition and increase our scholarship dollars!

By investing in education, you help build a skilled workforce within our communities. Students who receive scholarships feel motivated to complete their degrees. It means a lot to them to know that members of their communities are investing in them. More than 80 percent of Iowa Lakes graduates remain in the area and work, contributing to the local economy, so your gifts have great impact!
