Vocational Rehabilitation Services

Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation is an employment program for individuals who experience a disability. Whether you have a physical, emotional, or mental disability that prevents you from entering or staying within the workforce, we focus on service delivery to assist you in preparing for, obtaining, retaining, and advancement in employment.

If you are eligible to receive vocational rehabilitation services, our on-campus counselor will work with you to develop an individualized plan to deliver employment services based on your needs.

Individualized plans may include:

• Adaptive equipment or devices (wheelchairs, hearing aids, etc.)
• Physical therapy
• Counseling and guidance
• Job placement
• Financial help
