Start Your College Journey with January Orientation Days for Spring 2023 at Iowa Lakes Community College
(Estherville, Iowa) The Iowa Lakes Community College Admissions Department announces two January Orientation Days, on January 5 and 10, for students interested in fast-tracking the application, orientation, and registration process to attend Iowa Lakes for the spring term, starting January 11, 2023.
The Spring Orientation Days will have various timeslots available starting at 8:30 am, 10:30 am, 1:30 pm, and 3:30 pm. Iowa Lakes will offer Spring Orientation Days using two formats, face-to-face or virtual, to be as accessible as possible for everyone.
“The Spring Orientation Days provide incoming students with an opportunity to learn about Iowa Lakes while being introduced to what it takes to be a successful college student. We offer a variety of dates, times, and formats for Spring Orientation Days, so new students can choose what will work best for their schedule,” explained Annie Kalous, Director of Admissions.
During orientation, new students will have the opportunity to:
- Become acquainted with campus resources and services,
- Learn about academic expectations,
- Engage with other students,
- Attend an academic advising session,
- Register for classes, and
- Explore campus life, housing, financial aid, paying for college, campus technology, and many other aspects of life as a Laker.
