Save Your Seat in the Spotlight

Save a Seat in the SpotlightThe WaTanYe Chapter of Estherville has joined many other groups, businesses and individuals to save their “seat in the spotlight.”

With a generous donation of $500 to the Performing Arts Center, WaTanYe and others will be honored with a laser engraved plaque attached to a seat in the new auditorium which is being constructed on the Estherville Campus of Iowa Lakes Community College.

Recently, WaTanYe members presented Tony Condon, Foundation Manager, with their contribution.

Many other individuals, businesses and organizations have already “Saved their Seat in the Spotlight.” They include Larry & Betty Anderson, Avera Holy Family Foundation, Carol Ayres & Doug Stueven, Bank Plus, Jane & Bill Campbell, Jody & Tony Condon, JD & Miranda DePyper, Everett Drevs, ELC Foundation, Mikki & Steve Erickson, Excel! The seats are on display at the Estherville campus and interested individuals are welcome to stop by the college to check them out.

Donations of all sizes are greatly appreciated and help achieve the goal of naming all the seats in the auditorium.

“You can fill in the blank for the musical, music ensemble or area of the college you would like to honor,” said Condon.  “ Examples include, Cast of _____, Member of ______ or Fan of _____”

Seats will be honored in increments of $500. Excess funds will be joined with others to assure that all can be recognized.
