Public is invited to Jazz Band Contest for area schools at Iowa Lakes

Jazz BandIowa Lakes Community College will host its annual Jazz Band Contest for area high school bands on Thursday and Friday, Jan. 18-19. Twenty-one high school jazz bands will travel to Estherville to perform and compete for first, second and third place in four classes.

Each band will also be given valuable feedback from experienced judges. Classes 2A and 4A will perform on Thursday, and classes 1A and 3A on Friday. The performance schedule for the Jazz Band Contest is listed below. All performances will take place in the gymnasium.
