Iowa Lakes has provided you with helpful information and resources to assist with voting while attending college. As a college student, you may choose to vote at your home address or at your college address. You cannot register to vote at both.

Iowa Lakes encourages students to be educated on the various candidates and issues surrounding each election, as you have the power to elect the leaders of our communities, state, nation.

Registration and Student Resources

To register to vote in Iowa, you must be: a U.S. citizen, an Iowa Resident, and at least 17 ½ years old (must be 18 years old by Election Day.)
