Meet the Aviation Alumni: Wyatt Brink

Wyatt Brink completed the Iowa Lakes Aviation & Airport Management program in 2023, earning his Instrument and Commercial ratings. Today, he flies the KC-135 with the 185th Air Refueling Wing in Sioux City, Iowa.

Wyatt says Iowa Lakes stands out by combining the quality of instructors, aircraft, and facilities found at larger aviation programs with the personalized, one-on-one instruction of a local flight school. We couldn’t agree more!

One of his favorite memories was flying with fellow students to a fly-in cookout at the Mason City Airport, where they connected with pilots from a variety of backgrounds and explored different aircraft and hangars.

His advice for future aviators: “Put in the time and effort into all aspects of your training, and the reward will pay off tenfold.”
