KOFAB Welding and Metal Fabrication Scholarship Awarded

(Estherville, Iowa) The KOFAB Welding and Metal Fabrication Scholarship was established in 2004. KOFAB of Algona, the leading manufacturer of custom food-processing and material handling equipment, encourages students to pursue a career in welding and metal fabrication.

The scholarship requires full-time enrollment in the Welding Technology program at Iowa Lakes. Preference is given to incoming freshman who graduated from Algona, Bishop Garrigan, or North Union High Schools. The award amount is $1,000 and must be used for tuition, books or fees.

The 2019-2020 recipient of the KOFAB Welding and Metal Fabrication Scholarship is Terry Lowry of Emmetsburg.
