IOWA LAKES SOFTBALL ACADEMY ALLOWING SIGN-UPS UNTIL FIRST DAY OF SESSIONS

(Estherville, Iowa) The Iowa Lakes Softball team will be hosting a four-week Softball Academy for athletes in kindergarten through 12th grades. The 2022-23 Softball Academy will be held on four Sundays, October 16 and 23, and November 6 and 13, at the Christensen Building on the Estherville Campus.

The Softball Academy for grades kindergarten through sixth will focus on offensive and defensive skills, with sessions for grades kindergarten through third from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm and for grades fourth through sixth from 12:45 to 1:45 pm. The session price for kindergarten through sixth grade is $100.

The Softball Academy for grades seventh through 12th will run from 3:00 to 6:30 pm. Athletes can sign up for individual sessions or a bundle package. The sessions offered are Defense from 3:00 to 4:00 pm, Offense from 4:15 to 5:15 pm, and Pitching and Catching from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. Individual sessions will be $150, with a discount for purchasing multiple sessions. The discounted bundle cost for two sessions is $250, and three sessions will be $300.
