IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE WELCOMES KARI BATMAN AS NEW TRUSTEE FOR DISTRICT 5

Iowa Lakes Community College is pleased to announce the appointment of Kari Batman as the newest trustee representing District 5. With a strong background in healthcare, education, and community service, Kari brings a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for serving her community.

 

A proud alumnus of Iowa Lakes Community College, Kari began her educational journey with a degree in Nursing, later complemented by a BSN from Mercy College. Her professional career showcases a commitment to excellence, starting at Hilltop Nursing Home in Spirit Lake and currently serving as the Administrator at Emmet County Public Health, where her dedication and leadership have been widely recognized.

 

“I am thrilled to join the Iowa Lakes Community College Board of Trustees,” said Kari Batman. “As an alumni, I have experienced firsthand the transformative power of obtaining an education through Iowa Lakes, and I am eager to contribute to the continued success of the college and its students.”

 

In addition to her professional achievements, Kari is deeply rooted in her community. She resides in Milford with her husband, Jay Batman, and their three sons: Jack, Joseph, and Gabe. Together, they actively contribute to various community initiatives, embodying a commitment to service and engagement.
