(Estherville, Iowa) Iowa Lakes Community College announces Dr. Eric Dunker as the second finalist candidate for the next President of Iowa Lakes Community College. Dr. Dunker is scheduled to visit Iowa Lakes Community College campuses on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, with an open forum held at 10 am on the Emmetsburg Campus and 1:15 pm on the Estherville Campus. The public is invited to attend the open forums held in the campus auditoriums.
Dr. Eric Dunker currently serves as the Associate Vice President and Dean of Business, Technology, and Workforce Partnerships at Arapahoe Community College (ACC) in Colorado. In his current position, Eric leads ACC’s extended campuses and serves as an Academic Dean in Technology and Business. He is an Aspen Institute Fellow in the 2022 Rising Community College President Fellowship.
Dr. Dunker has over 17 years of experience in higher education. Before ACC, he served as the Coastal Regional Director for Oregon State University Extension. Dr. Dunker graduated from Bucknell University with his BSBA in Business, Colorado State University with an MS in Student Affairs in Higher Education, and the University of Denver with a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction.
