Iowa Lakes Community College Announces 2021 Jazz Band Content Schedule
(Estherville, Iowa) The Iowa Lakes Music Department announces the 2021 Jazz Band Contest schedule for high schools on Wednesday, February 3, and Thursday, February 4.
The 2021 Jazz Band Contest will be on the Estherville Campus of Iowa Lakes Community College. The general public will not be allowed into the event in person, but the contest will be live-streamed for people to enjoy for free.
Many local schools will participate in the competition vying for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies in class 2A, 3A, and 4A. There will also be soloist awards. Three judges will be determining the winners of the contest.
The schedule below is planned with larger breaks than usual between each band to ensure time to meet COVID safety measures, including sterilizing microphones, clearing the stage of air particles, and allowing each jazz band to set up safely.
