Iowa Lakes Announces Janice K. Lund Performing Arts Center Building Dedication & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

(Estherville, Iowa) Iowa Lakes Community College announces the official Building Dedication and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the Janice K. Lund Performing Arts Center on Thursday, July 30, at 5:00 pm with the program scheduled to start at 5:15 pm.

Once merely greenspace and parking, the new Janice K. Lund Performing Arts Center cuts a stunning silhouette across the skyline, boasting lovely architecture melded with artistic functionality that will host generations of arts and entertainment.

In 2016, the constituents of the five counties within the Iowa Lakes Community College District approved a bond referendum to fund the Janice K. Lund Performing Arts Center along with various projects completed on each campus of Iowa Lakes Community College. The Iowa Lakes Community College District includes Clay, Dickinson, Emmet, Kossuth, and Palo Alto counties.

“We are pleased to announce the Building Dedication and Ribbon Cutting ceremony. The Janice K. Lund Performing Arts Center will be a cornerstone for students and faculty to infuse the arts into our campus and our community,” explains Valerie Newhouse, President of Iowa Lakes Community College.

This event will include a Building Dedication, a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, a reception, and tours of the facility. Glenn Henricksen will provide a piano performance.
