Gaarde Hinsch Music Scholarship Awarded

(Estherville, Iowa) Bertha and Delbert Hinsch of Estherville established the Gaarde-Hinsch Scholarship at Iowa Lakes Community College in 1996, inspired by their great love of music. Requirements for the scholarship are participation in music and financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The amount of the award varies and must be used for tuition, books or fees.

The 2019-2020 recipients are:

  • Morgan Hellyer, Graettinger,

  • Madison Davis, Spencer,
  • Kyley Anderson, Spirit Lake,
  • Shala Boardman, Sutherland.
