Entrepreneurial Experience

Summer 2022

The Entrepreneurial Experience is a unique opportunity for motivated high school students in grades 9 -12, interested in entrepreneurship. The Entrepreneurial Experience is an 8 week program consisting of several components that include launching your creative skills and navigating business requirements.

Each student will work as a part of a team and pitch their business plan on the final day. The top team members will each receive a $1000 scholarship to attend Iowa Lakes Community College or the college of their choice upon high school graduation.

Students will complete all aspects of a business plan and meet with Professional Advisors to learn more about what it takes to prepare to launch a business or take your business to the next level.

This is a hybrid program. Coursework and discussions will be online as well as in person weekly at the Algona Campus at Iowa Lakes Community College.

The Entrepreneurial Experience is FREE to participants. Pre-registration is required. Registrations are due May 31, 2022.
