Date set for Heldt-Laker Memorial Golf Outing
The Heldt-Laker Memorial Golf Outing provides scholarship funds for student athletes at Iowa Lakes. Over 300 student athletes compete collegiately for the Iowa Lakes Lakers in 16 different sports. The event will be on Friday, July 13 at the Estherville Golf Course.
Registration begins Friday, July 13 at noon and includes lunch, with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. The event features a 9-hole, four-person best shot tournament format.
The entry fee is $100 per golfer or $400 per four-person team and includes green fees, cart (if requested), lunch, Laker Athletic t-shirt and a scholarship fund donation.
Fund-raising games at various locations on the course that can lower scores and generate additional dollars for athletic scholarships are also planned.
