Adult Education & Literacy

Begin your journey at Iowa Lakes!

Adult Education & Literacy (AEL) provides College and Career Readiness to adults 17 years of age or older. Programs offered at Iowa Lakes include High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) face-to-face and online, English as a Second Language (ESL), and Adult Basic Education (ABE).

AEL programs address the needs of adults who seek to earn a high school diploma or equivalency, improve their ability to read, write, and speak the English language or improve academic skills to prepare for the workforce or post-secondary education and training.
