Dorm style living is available in both our Laker I and Laker II dorms.

Laker I and Laker II

Two to three students occupy each unit. Each includes a 12 x 14 living area with a large closet and bathroom. Amenities include:

  • Air Conditioning
  • High Speed Internet
  • Private Bathroom
  • Dorm Size Refrigerator

Apartment style living is available in 24 four-plex units. Four to five students share each unit. These 900 square foot, two bedroom units include a living room, furnished kitchen, bathroom and vanity area. Amenities include:

  • Air Conditioning
  • High Speed Internet
  • Phone/Personalized Voice Mail
  • Full Size Refrigerator/Freezer
  • Single Bed
  • Dressers

Students may bring a microwave (1000 watts or less), television, computers and other personal items as they desire.

Contracts coincide with our college calendar from 1st day of Fall Term until final day of Spring Term. Summer housing and housing over breaks is available and is charged on a per-diem basis.

Housing Costs & Meal Plan 2021/2022

Room & Board is $6,620 for the 2021/2022 Academic Year, which includes living in the dorms and the 15 meal plan which includes breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday – Friday.

Room and Board on the 17 meal plan is $7160, which includes living in the dorms, three meals a day Monday-Friday at Dining Services and one meal on Saturday and one meal on Sunday.  Estherville Hy-Vee is the location for the two meals on the weekends, when they are signed up for this meal plan.

Room and Board on the 19 meal plan is $7700, which includes living in the dorms, three meals a day Monday-Friday at Dining Services and two meals on Saturday and two meals on Sunday.  Estherville Hy-Vee is the location  for the four meals on the weekends, when they are signed up for this meal plan.

These prices do not include the summer term.

Prices above are for August to December and January to May.

How do you live on campus?

Contact the Student Housing office and request a housing application or apply online. Return completed applications to the college, and in the spring you will be contacted and sent a housing contract. Contracts must be returned with a $100 deposit. All unit and roommate requests will be considered with returning students receiving first priority.
