Associate in Arts (AA) or Associate in Science (AS) Degree Transfer

Completing an Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degree makes it easy to transfer to another college or university. For many private colleges and universities in Iowa and surrounding states, you can transfer as a junior after meeting your freshman and sophomore requirements.

Degree requirements may vary by program, major, or emphasis. Please refer to the Iowa Lakes College Catalog.

Students planning to transfer should work closely with our Transfer Planning Advisor.

Degree Requirements

AA (Associate in Arts Degree)

AS (Associate in Science Degree)

Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree Transfer

Students seeking to transfer with an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree should begin working with the transfer school advisors as early as possible to ensure they take the correct coursework at Iowa Lakes.

We suggest providing your transfer advisor at your transfer school with the Iowa Lakes College Catalog so they may best advise you on what courses you need to finish your four-year degree. Get this information in writing and keep it with you through your Iowa Lakes journey.
