Career Ready Internship Program

$15 PER HOUR • 10-40 HOURS PER WEEK • 6-12 WEEK INTERNSHIP

The Career Ready Internship Program is an opportunity for area graduating high school seniors who plan to ENTER THE WORKFORCE instead of attending college. As part of this internship, students will have the opportunity to work within their local community and gain hands-on experience with the possibility of obtaining a permanent position. 

Students participating in the Career Ready Internship Program must take part in an orientation and complete a Career Plan. 

Participating students will take part in an interview process. All interviews will be scheduled based on the student's career interest with companies who are looking for candidates. The interview dates and times will be scheduled at either the student’s high school or on an Iowa Lakes Community College campus.
