31st Annual Fun & Wellness Day draws near

The 31st Annual Fun & Wellness Day planned at Iowa Lakes Community College in Emmetsburg is rapidly approaching.

The event will be Wednesday, May 16 at the Emmetsburg campus. Doors open at 7:45 a.m. for registration, continental breakfast and display booths.

Parking will be available at the new north main entrance of the college.

Fun & Wellness Day features a day of activities, health screenings, workshops and entertainment for those 50 years and better. This year’s keynote speaker is Minnesotan writer and humorist Al Batt, author of “A Life Gone to the Birds.”

Register in advance at www.iowalakes.edu/ce, class #2264, or on the day of the event. Cost is $10, which covers all sessions as well as a continental breakfast and a roast beef dinner with all the fixings for lunch.
