Laker Life

– a CRU ministry –

Laker Life is Iowa Lakes' campus ministry, where you can go to connect with others as you balance your new freedom and your beliefs, because your faith really grounds you amid the stresses of college life.

Weekly Meetings:

 
Laker Life meets every Wednesday during lunch for a time of fellowship and spiritual growth. 

Estherville:
We meet in room 74 on the Estherville campus at 11:00, Noon and 1:00 – whichever time works better for you!

Emmetsburg:
We meet in room 410 on the Emmetsburg campus at 12 noon.

Special Events:

 
Mission Trip:  We go on a Mission Trip to Chicago over Spring Break, serving in homeless shelters, working with children in underprivileged neighborhoods, and experiencing life in Chicago.

Weekend Getaway Retreat:  Every fall, we spend a weekend with Campus Crusade for Christ students from other colleges at Twin Lakes camp.           

Monthly social activities:  Every month we sponsor events such as game nights, volleyball, bowling, BBQ’s, karaoke, the annual Super Bowl Party, and bonfires.
