FARM EXPO & FIELD DAY PLANNED AT IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE FARM LAB

The Farm Lab of Iowa Lakes Community College will host its annual Farm Expo & Field Day Thursday, September 6, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

All area residents as well as past alumni of Iowa Lakes are invited to tour the Farm Laboratory. 

Attendees will be treated to tours of the college’s farm fields; a free lunch starting at 11:30 a.m.; and several agriculture exhibits throughout the event.  Participants will also be eligible to register for door prizes.

The Farm Expo & Field Day will be held rain or shine at the College Farm Laboratory located 5 miles west of Emmetsburg on U.S. Highway 18.
