Area golfers are invited to attend the Iowa Lakes Community College Foundation’s Palo Alto County Scholarship Golf Outing Friday, August 3, at the Hillcrest Golf Course in Graettinger. The event features a nine-hole, four-person best shot tournament format. Registration and lunch will begin at 11 a.m., followed by a noon shotgun start. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in flag contests and raffles throughout the afternoon. All event proceeds benefit students residing in Palo Alto County to attend Iowa Lakes Community College.
Entry fee is $85 per golfer and includes green fees, cart (if requested), lunch and entry gift. Sponsorship packages are available for $500 per team and include event sponsorship and a team of four individual golfers. Raffle tickets are available for purchase at $5 each or 3 for $10 and may be purchased the day of the event or by calling the Iowa Lakes Foundation office.
