Musical Productions

In alternating years, the Iowa Lakes’ Music Department joins with area community members to produce a musical. Recent productions have included:  The Music Man, The Fantasticks, The Melody Lingers On, Damn Yankees, Once Upon a Mattress, and You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown.

The 2012 production is Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella.

Production Dates: March 29, 30 and 31, 2012
 

If you still love a warming, dreams-come-true fairytale, then this is the musical for you! Join us as the Iowa Lakes Community College music students and area community members perform the timeless story of Cinderella (Enchanted Edition). This classic tale will be retold ... with all the magic and charm created by the original Rodgers and Hammerstein score. The tale of the humble, young girl who goes from an underprivileged maid to an elegant princess is loved by many, from adults to children alike. In the Enchanted edition, the story of Cinderella will create warmth and charm, from the hilarious stepsisters to the moment when the slipper fits.
