Iowa Lakes Community College Softball team is heading down to Houston, TX for their spring trip and season opener. The Laker’s will have 8 games while down there; Monday March 12 a double header against Galveston College, Tuesday March 13 a double header against Lamar State College, Thursday March 15 a double header against San Jacinto College, and Friday March 16 the last double header against Blinn College.
Head Softball Coach, Jessica VanLoy, and the Lakers are excited to get their season under way. “We have been preparing since the beginning of the school year for this date.” VanLoy said, “The team is ready to get out of the gym and onto the field!”
