The Iowa Lakes Men's Basketball team dropped a heart breaker to Iowa Western 76-73. Iowa Lakes is now 4-3 on the season.
The Lakers were led by Kelly Madison Jr with 23 points. Also scoring in double figures for the Lakers were Josh Schaben with 16 points and Deondre Parks with 13.
Iowa Western was led by Devin Brooks and Billy Dee Williams with 21.
It was a good college basketball game and both teams played hard, I thought we got tired a bit in the second half due to their athleticism, but we were able to fight through that and gave ourselves a chance to win, but couldn't convert.
Iowa Lakes will host Morningside JV Sunday December 2nd . Tip will be at 3:00pm.
