The Iowa Lakes Community College Wrestling team earned the #17 rank in this week’s NJCAA Div. I coaches poll.
Along with the team’s honor there are three individuals for the Lakers that are also ranked in the top 15 of their respected weight classes. Dylan Konechne, a freshman from Kimball, S.D., ranked #12 for the 125 pound weight class, Skyler Rice, a sophomore from Sioux Rapids, ranked #6 for the 133 pounders, and the highest ranked wrestler from Iowa Lakes. Nick Lawrence, a sophomore from Danville, N.H., comes in at #4 at 174 pounds.
The Lakers next action is at the national duals on January 14 in Springfield, Ill.
