The Iowa Lakes men’s basketball team is the #5 seed for the regional tournament which opens Tuesday, March 6. They will play #5 seed Des Moines Area Community College in Boone at 7:30 p.m.
Head Coach Troy Larson is optimistic going into the game.
“We are very excited about the regional tournament,” Larson said. “Our guys have steadily improved this year and are peaking at the right time. Having split with Iowa Central during the year it should be a good game. (We) need our four sophomores - A.J. Irby Jr., Wendell Pelts, Reggie Hearn, Eric Allison; to play well and help lead us,” he added.
