Dear Prospective Laker:

The Iowa Lakes baseball staff hopes you are having an enjoyable school year and are anticipating another fantastic year on the field. With a lot of new faces, our team has been busy preparing for the challenges that lie ahead.

Iowa Lakes is a two-year college offering over 60 academic programs with vast majority of our players enrolled in our college-parallel transfer program. Not only will you compete athletically for the championship in Iowa's JUCO conference, but also academically in a respected institution of higher learning. The knowledge and ideas that you formulate while meeting those challenges will become valuable assets to you professionally following graduation from Iowa Lakes. Our commitment to preparing student-athletes for life is what excludes us from the rest. We provide our players every opportunity to succeed both athletically and academically.

At Iowa Lakes, you will have an opportunity to play a tough 56 game schedule that includes a double-header at the Metrodome and 10 game schedule in Florida. Also, come see our new baseball complex that has been recently built. Within the last several years, we have had 5 All-Americans along with many All-Region players. Iowa Lakes will offer you a tremendous opportunity to be part of this!
