Since 2002, the annual O'Round the Loch Run has funded a scholarship at Iowa Lakes Community College. Requirements include sophomore status, full-time enrollment at the Emmetsburg campus, Emmetsburg High School graduate and a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA. Award amount varies and must be used for tuition, books or fees.
The 2012-13 recipient is Josh Kibbie of Emmetsburg.
