The NorthStar Bank supports area business and agriculture industries through the establishment of two scholarships in 2011. Each recipient receives $1,000 for tuition, books or fees. Requirements are: incoming freshman as of upcoming fall semester; full-time enrollment in an agriculture or business program; a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA; and, financial need as determined by FAFSA results.
The 2012-13 Agricultural Scholarship recipient is James Cronk of Armstrong, and the Business Scholarship recipient is Kelly Zebedee of Estherville.
