The Cass and Yackle families established this scholarship in 2006 in memory of Maxine Cass and Deanne Yackle. Requirements include full-time (12+ credits or part-time 6-11 credits), enrollment in the Human Services/Disability Studies program OR have a documented disability themselves, and, financial need as determined by FAFSA results. Award is $500 and must be used for tuition, books or fees.
The 2012-13 recipient is Deanna Fehr of Whittemore.
