Maurice Broadie of Superior and his family created the Louise Broadie Memorial Scholarship in 2001. Louise was his beloved wife and mother to his children. Award amount varies and must be used for tuition, books, or fees. Requirements are Estherville Lincoln Central graduating senior, financial need as determined by FAFSA result, full-time enrollment in nursing or agricultural program, and a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA.
The 2012-13 recipient is Corin Swalve of Estherville.
