Judith L. Johnson Memorial Music Scholarship was started by her family in 2011. This annual award is $1,000 and must be used for tuition, books or fees. This scholarship was created to honor Judy's life devoted to teaching and music. Requirements include Emmetsburg High School graduate, full-time enrollment, music participation, and a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Preference is given to a graduating senior and/or Judy's former piano students.
The 2012-13 recipient is Jordan Christensen of Emmetsburg.
