Two
levels of Reading, Writing, and Speaking/Listening are offered
to students. Each of the three-credit classes offers
teacher
presentations, pair and group activities, instructional
handouts, projects, games, question/answer, practice activities
and simulations and written presentations. In addition,
faculty-approved textbooks, computer-assisted instruction,
instructor-developed materials, as well as student-generated
materials are
used.
Although the
classes do not count for graduation, they qualify for financial
aid.
